Ballfreunde becomes official sponsor of the FVR and namesake of the E-junior district cup competitions

This year's E-junior district cups will have a new look in seven of the nine districts: from now on, they will be called "Ballfreunde.de E-Junioren Kreispokal". With Ballfreunde GmbH, the leading provider of youth football tournaments in Germany, FV Rheinland has gained a strong partner to support children's football in the districts of Westerwald/Wied, Westerwald/Sieg, Koblenz, Rhein/Ahr, Mosel, Hunsrück/Mosel and Trier-Saarburg. "The partnership with Ballfreunde GmbH gives us the opportunity to improve and largely standardise the framework conditions for children's football at district level. It's great that we can offer the young players exciting and fair competitions together with such an experienced partner as Ballfreunde," said Dennis Gronau, Managing Director of FV Rheinland. "We are delighted to be making another important contribution to the promotion of youth football with the Ballfreunde.de E-Junioren Kreispokal. In addition to the district cup, our tournaments offer young players the opportunity to compete at a high level and enjoy unforgettable experiences and international encounters," said Fabian Ziethmann, Managing Director of Ballfreunde GmbH. In 2025, Ballfreunde GmbH will organise 34 tournaments in which over 65,000 young players from 31 nations will take part. These tournaments are open to teams of all levels from U8 to U19 and offer clubs from all over the world the opportunity to compete in a friendly and enriching sporting environment. The focus is on enjoying the game together and making new friends. Through its extensive range of tournaments, Ballfreunde promotes international exchange and makes a significant contribution to the further development of youth football.
